ARCHITECTURAL WALKS IN KÄPYLÄ AND VALLILA: HOUSING FOR HELSINKI
From the garden suburb to the large apartment block. This tour explores two neighborhoods northeast of the Helsinki city centre created by the collaboration of the city and private housing associations to provide housing for Helsinki residents between 1920 and 1950. The tour group will travel by tram from the Museum of Finnish Architecture, so participants must have either a day or tickets for three separate journeys on their phone.
